At Marietta First Baptist Church we offer two different styles of worship from our 11am classic worship to our 8:45am more contemporary worship style. Our Classic Worship Service is filled with some of the best orchestral, choral, piano, and organ music Cobb County has to offer, while our 8:45 Morning Worship Service is a more relaxed atmosphere integrated with praise and worship choruses led by a rhythm band. Sermons from our senior pastor, Dr. Bill Ross, seamlessly weave the story of scripture into the reality of our real world existence in both services. Dr. Ross excels at preaching in an understandable and engaging fashion. On some occasions, Dr. Ross surprises the congregation with an aptly used prop. We offer an optional children's worship service for grades k-3rd during our 11am worship. However, we encourage children grades K and above to participate during our 11am worship, and Children 2 and above to participate in our morning worship. Professional Nursery Staff and facilities are offered for Newborn to Kindergarten for our 11am worship hour and Newborn to age 2 for our 8:45am worship service.
