The end of a marriage is devastating to all involved, and Marietta First Baptist Church wants to reach out to those in our community who are impacted by divorce. DivorceCare is a special seminar and support group for those who have or are going through a divorce. If you are going through a divorce or know someone who is going through a divorce, please attend or invite them to attend this very helpful group. This is an ongoing group and you can attend at anytime.
Topics include: What’s happening to me? When will I feel better? And others.

Dealing with the death of a loved one is never easy. The feelings of loss and loneliness can be overwhelming and difficult for those around us to understand. Working Through Your Grief is a support group that not only provides compassion but offers insight on the grieving process.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery ministry based on eight principles from the Beattitudes (Matthew 5) and the 12 steps of recovery as expressed in the Bible. Through this program, you can learn to experience freedom from hurts, freedom from habits, and freedom from hang-ups. Marietta First Baptist Church will be starting a group in the late spring or early summer of 2008.
